Blistered Fingers BandSome of the Greatest Bluegrass music you can see and hear at one of the largest family musical events in New England! This Bluegrass Festival takes place twice every year bringing thousands of Music lovers from all over the World converging in Litchfield, Maine to hear banjos, fiddles, and those high, lonesome harmonies. This event will feature many National and Local bands from all over the world. Our Blistered Fingers festival has something for all ages. Music happens every June and August since 1991. Buses, RV's, Campers, Tents, Day Attendees and 4 days of entertainment. The June festival is right around the corner -- June 14-17 at 30 Plain Rd., Litchfield, ME at the Fairgrounds.

This year's lineup is outstanding and includes The Lonesome River Band, Little Roy & Lizzy Long, The Bluegrass Brothers, White Mountain Bluegrass, Tony Holt & The Wildwood Valley Boys, Bluegrass Diamonds, Travers Chandler & Avery County, Original Condition, Blue Around The Edges, The Pine Hill Ramblers, Maranacook String Band, Bluegrass Gospel Sing & Jam, And Your Host Band - Blistered Fingers.

The festival is a full featured festival offering activities for people of all ages. The Blistered Fingers Kids Academy (BFKA) is a joint venture between Blistered Fingers and the Bluegrass Music Association of Maine. It is a FREE relaxed, informative three day music program for children between 6-18. The focus is going to be how to play, sing and perform bluegrass music. Students will bring their own bluegrass instruments and commit to the three day program ending with an optional Main Stage performance Saturday at 2pm! Each student will receive a free BFKA T-shirt!

Greg & Sandy Cormier have been putting on this fine festival for decades and it has become one of the finest festivals the Northeast has to offer. The festival offers various activities, camping, jamming, lots of great bluegrass music in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
