Mountain Song At SeaSteep Canyon Rangers are taking part in a brand new bluegrass festival at sea. Mountain Song at Sea sets sail February 1-4, 2013 from Miami to Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas. The Rangers will be welcoming Punch Brothers to the cruise festival. Other artists will include David Grisman Sextet, Del McCoury Band, Tim O'Brien & Bryan Sutton, Steep Canyon Rangers, The Kruger Brothers, Peter Rowan, Larry Keel & Natural Bridge, Della Mae, Town Mountain, and Shannon Whitworth.

Come aboard the Norwegian Sky, a luxurious ship with all the amenities you’d expect: pools, hot tubs, casino games, and music on multiple stages. Something special happens when a group of artists who share a passion for music gather with like-minded fans for a festival aboard a single ship.

Mountain Song at Sea will feature performances by musicians in intimate venues, spontaneous musical collaborations, jams, interactions with artists, and the creation of friendships within the Mountain Song at Sea community. Artists will also host Q&A sessions, along with other activities like beer & wine tastings, workshops, a poker tournament, games, and more!

You’ve never seen this many bluegrass fans at sea! The entire ship has been chartered for this inaugural Mountain Song at Sea festival - where every person on board will live and breathe 3 full days of music. Prepare for a music festival cruise celebrating the traditions, legends, and new evolutions of bluegrass!

"This floating festival is a whole new way to experience bluegrass," said John Felty of Mountain Song Productions. "We are very excited to launch the inaugural sailing of Mountain Song at Sea and bring together great artists and like-minded fans for an unforgettable experience."
