6th Annual Remington Ryde Bluegrass Festival to Feature 15 Bands

Remington RydeReedsville, PA -- Five days of Camping and Bluegrass Music will be what's happening at the 6th Annual Remington Ryde Bluegrass Festival this July 12-15, 2012 in Reedsville, PA 17084. Fifteen bluegrass bands are scheduled to entertain attendees throughout the festival. There will be top names, bluegrass favorites, regional talent and more.

Scheduled to appear are Michael Cleveland & Flamekeeper (Fri), Goldwing Express (Sat), Hillbilly Gypsies (Sat), Little Roy & Lizzie Show (Thurs), Danny Paisley & Southern Grass (Thurs), Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road (Fri), James King Band (Sun), Remington Ryde (Thur,Fri,Sat), The Atkinson Family (Sat&Sun), Idletymes (Sat), Bluegrass Mountaineers (Fri), Louie Setzer & Appalachian Mountain Boys (Fri), Jesse Alexander Band (Sat), and Unusual Suspects (Sun).

The gate will open on Wednesday July 11th with first come and first served on camping. No one will be permitted on the grounds until 7am. RV Camping and rough camping is included in the weekend ticket price. Generators are welcome. Dogs are welcome on the grounds just not in the performance area. Shade Tents are available for crowd pleasure. Food and Craft Vendors are on hand. Workshops will be held by performers. Danny Stewart’s Jam Tent will be open to all jammers. RB Powell’s Wagon Stage will be back once again. Billy Lee Cox will be preaching at the Sunday Morning Church Service. This is a true family event!

Remington Ryde will include the band's two newsest members -- Rich Kratzer on Mandolin and Richard Egolf on Bass. Welcome them at the Remington Ryde show. Join Ryan Frankhouser at several Bluegrass Festivals this year for one of his songwriting workshops and join Billy Lee Cox as well for one of his great banjo instructional workshops!
