Feller and Hill Release New Single “The Bugler”

Young Willie disappeared, himself, and never returned and his mother has searched endlessly to find him. They finally do reunite at a camp on one of the many battlegrounds his mother searched. The songwriter leaves it up to the listener as to whether Willie lived on...or his ghost still haunts the battlegrounds of the Great Smokey Mountains.

Kim Robins Debuts on Pinecastle with “Raining in Baltimore”

Raining in BaltimorePinecastle Records is excited to announce Kim Robins's label debut recording Raining in Baltimore. The album will be available this Friday July 21st, 2017. Robins shows off her songwriting on the album with three out of the twelve tracks to her credit including the title track. She will be a featured songwriter at the International Bluegrass Music Association's (IBMA) World of Bluegrass this fall. Robins enlisted some big time help on Raining in Baltimore with Ron Stewart and Rickey Wasson co-producing and performing on the album. Other personnel on the album include Adam Steffey, Harold Nixon, Alicia Wasson, and Shannon Slaughter.

Netherlands ETSU Dobroist Awarded Share America Foundation Scholarship

The scholarship honors students excelling in the Appalachian musical arts. Dobroist Owen Schinkel of Johnson City, Tennessee was selected as a Pearl and Floyd Franks Scholarship winner receiving a $1,250 scholarship from the organization for continuing his music studies. While in Ringgold, he also appeared both at Sacred Sounds Fridays at Ringgold's Patriot Hall, on the long-running Ringgold Opry at the Ringgold Depot and toured the region's historical sites meeting many locals and tourists.
